Scratch Cakes |
||
Almost nothing smells as good as a cake baking on a cold February day |

Raw Apple Cake |

Combine all ingredients--mix well. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan; bake at 375
degrees for 45 minutes. Ice with: 1 stick oleo, 1.8 oz pkg. cream cheese, 1 cup powdered sugar & 1 teaspoon vanilla,--mix well. |

Crushed Banana Cake |

Cream sugar & butter together, --add egg yolks, bananas & buttermilk, -- mix well. Add flour & soda, mix well. Beat egg whites stiff & fold in. Stir in nutmeats. Pour into greased pan; Bake for 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees. | |
Plum Cake |

|
Mix together oil, sugar, eggs and baby food. Sift and add flour, cinnamon and cloves;
mix well and add nuts. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 300 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours. Note: I use a lemon glaze to ice this with...yummy!!! |
