We eat more Native American foods today than foods from any other continent. Consider these Native foods and meals:

 
 

 

Corn (maize):
Grits, Popcorn, Hominy, Chips, Bread, Succotash, Tortillas, Syrup, Hush puppies ... CORN-ON-THE-COB
   

Potato:
Chips, French Fries, Mashed, Baked, Boiled, Hash Browns

Sweet Potato

   

Squash
   

 

Beans:
Kidney, Butter, Snap, String, Lima, Navy, Pole, Pinto
   
Berry (47 kinds of Native berries have been identified):
Blueberry, Elderberry, Gooseberry, Blackberry, Strawberry, Cranberry
   
Avocado:
Guacamole
   
Nuts:
Hickory, Brazil, Black Walnut, Butternut, Sunflower, Peanut, Pecan, Cashew
   
Tomato:
Spaghetti Sauce, Salsa, Juice ... PIZZA SAUCE
   
Desserts:
Cocoa/Chocolate, Tapioca, Pawpaw/Custard, Maple Sugar and Syrup
   

Seasonings:
Paprika, Vanilla, Wintergreen, Allspice, Cayenne, Chili Peppers
